SOCOM Confrontation Beta dated

I have some good news and some bad news. This may change depending on your situation. First the good news. SOCOM Confrontation Beta has been dated for September 1. Now the bad news, this is only for those that pre-ordered the game. Those that were hoping to get into the Beta by getting issue one of Sony's online media, Qore, will have to wait 1 week. That's right. Qore members will have access on September 8th. As one of the Qore subscribers it is a little disappointing, however on the bright side it will give me one more week to play Mercenaries 2.
